Wilma Catherine Margaret Howarth, 88, Rockford, died at 11:33 A.M. Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at her home. She was born December 18, 1919, in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada. Her parents, Charles A. and Hazel E. Follis Long. She married James Robert (Bob) Howarth in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada on November 18, 1942. Bob died on September 23, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nv. Wilma enjoyed bowling, golf and travel and worked at the Goldie Floberg Center and the Latham Park Library. Survivors include her children, Jim and Barbara Howarth of Houston, TX., Tom and Bronwyn Howarth of Rockford and Peg and Mike Numbers of Rockford. Her Brother Bob and Betty Long of Victoria, Canada and Brother-in-law, Jack and Arlene Howarth of Mendota, IL. Grandchildren; Maggie Howarth of Rockford, Shannon and Scott Wilt of Cherry Valley, IL.,Jimmy and Kristie Howarth of Little Elm, TX., Melanie Howarth of Houston, TX., Amanda and Joel Lynch of Rockford and Katie and Cory Nilsen of Rockford. Great Grandson, Brody Clinite of Cherry Valley, IL. Several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and her best friends, Connie Cogswell and Mary Mangracina. Also preceded in death by her Daughter-in-law, Kathy Howarth, her parents, Charles and Hazel and In-laws, James and Mary Howarth. Funeral services at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Julian-Poorman-Welte. Rev. Dr. William Richard Kerr Sr. will officiate. Visitation from noon until service time.
