Life Legacy
John T. Leonard, Jr. "Junior", 54, of Machesney Park, passed away peacefully Wednesday July 20, 2011 in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a brief bout with cancer. Loving son of John Sr. & Martha (Stern) Leonard. He is survived by his parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and many many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
John was a Rockford Guilford High School graduate. He loved cooking, fishing, reading and playing billiards.
Private family services will be held at Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home 304 N. 5th St. Rockford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to the PAWS Humane Society.
