Kevin Leroy Hess,"Skinny Leroy" 55, of Rockford, died at 2:27 p.m. Wednesday May 11, 2011 at Swedish American Hospital after a long illness. He was born August 4, 1955 to Harold and Joan (Palmer) Hess. Married Nina Houston. He is survived by his wife, Nina; daughter, Valerie (Gary) Nicholson; sons, Shannon Fisher and Heath Fisher. Grandchildren include his best buddy, Justus,Mya, Dakoda, Abby & Justin. Mother, Joan (Jim Pumphrey) Hess. Brothers, David (Connie) Hess, Cary (Mary) Hess, Rodney & Joel Hess. Sisters, Laurene (Nick) D'Alessandro, Debra (Bob) Hopkins and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his father, Harold; 2 sisters, Dana Miner & Valerie Hess.
