Biography

Glen Lowtharp-62-Rockford, died at 7:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at East Bank Center, after a year long battle with colon cancer. Born January 7, 1948, in Truman, Arkansas, son of Gordon and Louanna Bowman Lowtharp. He was formerly a spray painter at local factories. Survivors include his sisters, Peggy A.(James) Johnson and Bessie Forester of Rockford. Brothers, Roy of Rockford, Fred (Barb) and Don (Connie) Lowtharp of Camdenton, MO. and Lyle (Kathy) Lowtharp of Pocahontas, Arkansas. Several nieces and nephews. Sisters, Earlene, Geneva and Jean and his parents preceded him in death. Graveside service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Scandinavian Cemetery. Visitation from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Friday, February 26, 2010, at Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home. Memorials may be given in care of the family.
