History

One of Rockford's oldest cemeteries, formerly known as the East side cemetery.  We are committed to providing a low cost alternative to burial at other area cemeteries.  Established on February 18, 1847 with over 12,000 burials.

 Located at the West end of Rural Street bordering Longwood & Hwy. 251

One of the few local cemeteries that still allows upright markers & monuments on a single grave.  Feel free to explore our memorial marker pages for examples.

Current Pricing

Current single grave cost is $500.00

Opening/Closing of the grave
    *$950.00 for a weekday service arriving before 3:30 p.m.
    *$1300.00 for a Saturday service arriving before Noon
    *$1400.00 for a Saturday service arriving after Noon but before 3:30
   

Sundays/Holidays-Call for price.

Cremation or Infant graves
    *$250.00

Opening/Closing Cremation or Infant graves
    *$450.00 and up depending on size of grave needed and time of      
          service.

Winter Charge
    *$100.00 when applicable
